Formed in 2018, The Wooden Soldiers have been quietly gaining momentum playing their unique brand of folky, Americana blues in backyards around Orange County. Although it is likely you've never heard of them, don't let that fool you. Many of the members have been playing with various bands in Orange County and LA for the better part of two decades, and now that late-blooming songwriter, Matt Echan, has finally overcome his fear of the dark, the band is looking to get out and share their gritty, raw stories to a wider audience. With a new 3-song EP, produced by well-known OC native, Johnny Hanson of Nest recorders, set to release any day, their train looks ready to leave the station.
